Rahzel x Rafael Lozano-Hemmer | ‘Art of NOYZE’ (Lights Controlled By Beatboxing)
In this modern day and age we can pretty much control anything through technology, but imagine what we could do in the future? On September 6th 2012, the artist Rafael Lozano-Hemmer collaborated with beatboxing legend Rahzel to create an innovative and artistic piece for the Voice Array project, which saw the beatboxer manipulate light with the sounds created from his mouth. Dubbed the “Art of NOYZE”, the recorder transforms audio into flashes across 288 LEDs.
