Jamie’s Theory: Is Jay-Z The Voice Behind Nicki Minaj Sped Up? Hmm..

I was snooping around on the net, at 06:00am checking out what’s new and I came across this blog entry on vice.com written by Jamie Lee Curtis Taete. The subject matter of his entry was on his theory that when Jay-Z is bored (I don’t know how he can be when he has so much money), he records tracks and then speeds them up, which then apparently creates the vocals for Young Money’s Nicki Minaj, in hopes of him completely dominating the whole Hip Hop scene by taking over the female rap game.

Despite me not being a fan of the female YMCMB rapper (or any of Young Money’s artists), I chose not to believe this view. However, I did check out his theory on Vice to proving that the father of blue Ivy Carter has a perhaps slightly worrying lowkey female alter ego, Nicki Minaj.

Below, is a slowed down version of Nicki’s single 'Super Bass'. Hit play to hear for yourself.

On Jamie’s blog, he went on to say,

It should come as no surprise that, having cornered the markets in rap, non-racist champagne, clothing and lifestyle websites, Jay would also want to conquer the female rap game.

And have you ever seen Jay-Z in the same vocal recording booth as Nicki Minaj while she’s recording a vocal track? DIDN’T THINK SO.

I can see where he’s got the whole Hov thing from, especially in the first verse. That’s so Hov. But it did get a little ‘eeesh’ when it got to the singing parts of the song as I’m like “This is why Mr. Carter don’t sing.. That shit sounds weird on him.” (Imagine Jay-Z singing in his songs like every other rapper though…)

Taete rounds his blog by saying,

I have no idea what this means in terms of the Illuminati, but I’m sure you’ll all line up in the comments to tell me.

So what do you guys think about this theory?
